Newark Arts Names Board Members from Prominent Newark Legal Firms
Attorneys Jennifer C. Critchley and Michael Horn are the newest crop of professionals named as board members at Newark Arts. Both Critchley and Horn are well-respected and well-known attorneys in their fields, have a history in the city of Newark, and are dedicated to the cause of Newark Arts.
Mr. Horn represents financial institutions and corporations in regulatory, corporate governance and litigation matters as a partner at McCarter and English here in Newark. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, and is Chairman of the Council of Federal Home Loan Banks.
Ms. Critchley currently practices in Newark at Connell Foley in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Banking Law & Finance practice groups. She has successfully represented major entities in both federal and state courts of New Jersey and New York, but also devotes time to represent small companies in commercial litigation involving contracts, construction dispute, and issues of trade libel.
“Newark is as much a great legal center as it is a dynamic cultural center. Newark Arts is delighted to welcome Jennifer and Michael, whose respective firms are legal leaders as well as boosters of arts and culture,” said Newark Arts Executive Director Jeremy Johnson. “We look forward to their continued dedication in serving the Newark arts community and moving the vision of Newark Arts forward!”
