The Newark Public Library’s 3rd annual Black Lives Matter-Newark panel discussion will examine how we got here and the systemic challenges our families and communities consistently face. Institute Senior Counsel and Director of the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice’s Economic Mobility Initiative will be a panelist at this important discussion alongside:

Lori Scott-Pickens, Director of Community Outreach at the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University-Newark
Robert L. Johnson, Professor of Pediatrics and Director of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine
Fatimah Loren Muhammad, Director Trauma Advocacy Initiative at Equal Justice USA
