Act like an O.G.: Winter Workshop W/ Guyviaud Joseph and Omar Salmon

Act Like an O.G will host its winter seminar for actors looking to book work in Film and Television. This focus of the winter workshop intensive will be to help actors learn their brand, and create ways to market themselves along with taking the proper steps to find represenation; both mangers and agents. Class will be facilitated by actor/acting coach Omar Salmon and actor/producer Guyviaud Joseph who have both booked roles in network television and feature films.
Omar Salmon has portrayed roles in various films including the feature film Broadcasting Christmas starring opposite Dean Cain, he recently wrapped filming as a Guest Star on Wu-Tang: An American Saga and also booked an array of commercials. He trained with the world renowned Susan Batson for the past 5 years and began teaching at her studio over 2 years ago under her supervision. She has coached various Emmy and Oscar Award winning performances by well known film stars, using this method Omar has helped Actors prepare for roles on television shows such as the Starz hit show Power, the Neflix sensation She’s Gotta Have It, and the CBS hit TV series Bull as well as various feature films.
Guyviaud Joseph gave an unforgettable performance as a Recurring Guest Star on Power and recently wrapped a principle role on Tales and a supporting role in a feature film entitled Pleasure of Your Presence alongside Alicia Silverson. As a producer he has created several films that have won in their respective category at film festivals throughout the world; his film P.O.V has won best short at NY Lift-Off Film Festival, LA Lift-Off Film Festival, Justice-On-Trial Film Festival and chosen as the official selection at many prestigous film festivals including Cannes International Film Festival, Martha’s Vineyard AA Film Festival and many more. Guyviaud has acquired training from many different acting techniques and teachers in New York including Bob Krawkower, Susan Batson, Anthony Abeson and Wynn Handman although he began his theatrical training at Penn State University’s Drama & Theatre Arts program.
