Enjoy a day of fun activities for the whole family at The Newark Museum of Art.
Timeline of Activities
10am-5pm – MakerSPACE (for kids of all ages) Mezzanine Level, South Wing A fun interactive area where kids play, tinker, and create.
11-11:30am – Zula Patrol 2: Down to Earth Planetarium Show (for kids ages 5 and up) Duration: 25 minutes
12-12:45pm – Creative Play: How Sweet It Is (for kids ages 3-5) Court, Main Building Hone your culinary skills by decorating your own sugar cookies!
1-4pm – Family Drop-In: Mini Keepsake (for kids ages 5-10) Court, Main Building April 30 & May 28 only: Make a mini keepsake box highlighting a swirly technique called quilling! May 7 only: Design beautiful paper flowers, for blooms that last forever!
2:00-2:30pm – Zula Patrol 2: Down to Earth Planetarium Show (for kids ages 5 and up) Duration: 25 minutes
3:00-3:30pm – SkyQuest Planetarium Show (for kids ages 5 and up) Duration: 25 minutes
Only on May 7: Puppetonia, 11am and 1pm
Please note there won’t be any family activities on May 14.
The Museum will be closed to host our annual fundraiser Art Ball.
