"O Rosa Bella" showcases the intricate polyphony that blossomed in fourteenth- and fifteenth-century Europe, when limpid harmonies were unveiled through the skillful entwining of individual melodies. This program features the music of Guillaume de Machaut, Johannes Ciconia, and Guillaume Dufay, whose mesmerizing lyricism continues to evoke the yearning love poetry of their texts.
