Newark Arts is thrilled to announce that our annual applications for the 2025 ArtStart Grants open on March 3rd!

Since 2001, ArtStart has jumpstarted over 200 arts and cultural projects, providing over $500,000 in funding to individual artists, schools, nonprofits, and community groups. These mini-grants—ranging from $3,500 to $5,000—support creative programs that engage Newark’s young people and uplift our neighborhoods.

Have an idea that sparks creativity and fosters community? This is your chance to bring it to life! A diverse selection committee will review proposals, ensuring a fair and impactful distribution of funds.
