This film takes audiences on a deeply personal journey with the legendary artist and civil rights leader as he inspires the next generation of entertainers and activists to disrupt injustice and demonstrates how love can transform oppression.

Following the screening, a live panel discussion featuring key contributors from the documentary will explore how Belafonte’s groundbreaking legacy continues to resonate in today’s social and political climate. Afterward, join us for a private cocktail reception hosted by Newark Arts, offering a unique opportunity to reflect on Belafonte’s enduring influence.
