About the event

​You’re invited to a special evening celebrating the opening of The Courage in Care: Community Doulas and the Joyful Revolution of Birth. This gathering is a heartfelt thank you to our loved ones, communities of support, project partners, and the incredible doulas whose stories and wisdom brought this exhibition to life. We hope you’ll join us as we mark the completion of In Good Company’s (Kent + Vinay) FIRST public exhibition. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you 🥳

​The Courage in Care is more than an exhibition. It’s a love letter to the doulas, birthing people, and communities who are reshaping what it means to give and receive dignified, culturally-grounded care.

​Come experience the truths and traditions of community doulas through immersive environments and first-person narratives that center Black and Brown birthing families.

​This exhibition is part of a larger call to action and we encourage you to support the work of community doulas by:

• ​Giving to local birth justice organizations
• ​Advocating for policies that protect birthing rights and expand doula access
• ​Funding community-led care models rooted in dignity, trust, and tradition
