The Newark LGBTQ Film Festival, Express Newark’s Community Media Center, and Paramount’s Content for Change partner to provide a filmmaking opportunity and artistic development experience for two emerging LGBTQIA+ filmmakers of the Greater Newark area.  Each filmmaker will receive a $5000 production grant from Paramount’s Content for Change to create their short film. In addition to the grant, Express Newark’s Community Media Center will offer professional mentorship, production equipment, and post production resources to support the filmmakers from development through to the completion of their short films.

The fellowship will begin January 13, 2025 and conclude on May 2nd with the premiere of the two short films at the 2025 Newark LGBTQ Film Festival.
