LOVE YOUR BLOCK Mini-Grants Program

The Office of Sustainability would like for you to become aware of and possibility participate in the new "Love Your Block" program the Office of Sustainability is launching this year. This program connects residents with city departments and community organizations to implement hyper-local neighborhood beautification and community-building projects. The overall goal of the LOVE YOUR BLOCK program is to prevent or eliminate property blight and revitalize city neighborhoods one block at a time.

This project is essential for you to know if you wish to improve your neighborhood and would like to apply. If chosen, you will receive a mini-grant of up to $2,500 dollars starting Spring 2019 based on the project needs. Also this project within the neighborhood would require volunteers from your neighborhood community to participate in this project in order for this program to become a success. Furthermore, projects may include and are not limited to: Community Clean-Ups, Minor Home Repairs, and Vacant Lot Activation. *Applicants DO NOT have to be a part of a nonprofit.
